The Stowe 8 Miler is a classic summer race now in its 32nd year. Vermonters and runners from all over New England and Canada return year after year to Stowe for this historic event. A two-person relay was added in 2012 and has proven to be a popular addition. If you are a veteran runner of this race we welcome you back; if you are considering running the Stowe 8-Miler, don’t miss the fun! Register now.
The Course: As beautiful as ever, this eight mile single-loop course starts just off Mountain Road in the town of Stowe. The course is rolling with some flat sections, all of which takes runners through the beautiful Vermont countryside and then through the heart of downtown Stowe.
Start: 9:00 AM sharp! Report to the starting line at the town fields just off the Mountain Road on Weeks Hill Road. by 8:50 AM.
Finish Party: After the race, come
join us for the celebration! Located at the Ye Olde England Inne.
Finish Location: The finish is on the front lawn of the Golden Eagle Resort.
The famous after race party with Smuttynose crafted beer and ice cream is at the Ye Olde England Inne.
