Welcome: LOCO Sports and Club LOCO are proud to bring back this classic race. We thank the previous sponsors, the Race Crew, and the town of Stowe for allowing this event to continue and especially you avid, loyal runners and walkers.

We iinvite you to run in the 27th Annual Stowe 8-Miler. Come run with other runners from throughout the Northeast, including some of New England’s top runners

RACE COURSE: An 8 mile single-loop course starting and finishing just off the Mountain Road in the town of Stowe (the town events field on Weeks Hill Rd.). A mostly flat course that proceeds through beautiful Vermont countryside and takes you through the heart of Stowe.

START: 9:00 AM sharp on Sunday July 20, 2008. Report to the starting line at the town fields just off the Mountain Road on Weeks Hill Rd. by 8:30.

AWARDS: Cash awards to top teams and finishers. T-shirts guaranteed to all entries. Silent aucton for Concept II rower and other merchandise. Random drawing for merchandise awards.

ENTRY: $20 early entry. $24 after June 1..Race Day Registrations- and Sat: July 19th is $28.

RACE NUMBER AND T-SHIRT PICK UP: Saturday July 19th 2-5PM and Sunday July 20, 7:00-8:30 at the Town Event Field near the start of the race.

PARKING: FREE - at event field.

RESTROOMS: Portolets available at start area. No changing facilities; come dressed to run.

POST RACE: GREAT food and awards presentation following the race at the start/finish; plenty of free refreshments.
