RACE DAY Registration

Yes you can register Race Day- We will have 90numbers available with concert tickets and shirts still available.

Fall is the very best time to run or walk a half marathon. You have cool fall morinings to train, clean brisk air, stunning foliage and the half marathon distance is a very doable distance.

So many runners and walkers simply loved our Hampton course last February that we have added a very special Fall event: the Smuttynose Half Marathon and Rockfest Race featuring a live concert and course side music.

Why run a half marathon in the fall? The average temperature this Sunday in the Fall is ideal - in the mid 50's. Foliage is peaking the third week in October on the coast, and the course offers a little of everything from roaring beaches to vibrant red and yellow lined rural road and magestic coastal views. Plus, this is THE fastest easiest course you will find in New England!

The Course: You'll start right in the center of Hampton beach and finish at the Hampton Beach State Park.

From there the course travels over fairly flat rural roads in Hampton and North Hampton for 8 miles and then runs 5 miles back to the finish with the ocean directly on your left.

WALKERS & RUNNERS WELCOME----The race welcomes walkers and runners of all abilities from all over the country. While this is a brand new race, we do expect over 1500 runners to celebrate their fitness over this most scenic course.

Course Elevation ----The course is truly one of the easiest and flattest courses in New England. The highest elevation is only 67 feet and that takes 4 miles to climb. The beginning two miles and last five miles are pancake flat. There are basically two medium hills in the entire course at mile 6 and mile 8.

Weather History ----The weather on this date is ideal. Averge starting temps in the high 40's with finishing temperatures normally in the mid 50 degree range. 90% of the time the weather is dry with winds 8-12 mph.

After Race Party- - Celebrate your walk or run in the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom with a Live Rock band - the after-race feast including Smuttynose BEER.

PACERSHalf Marathon

Hey, want an expert pacer to help you finish in a specific time. You got it. The Hampton Half will provide pacers from 8 min pace up to 11 minute per mile pace. Run with a paced team - it's a great way to meet your goals.
